The combination of the lovely tweed jacket and white pants works well in this instance. The white flat shoes look good. The ensemble is a great choice for this event and visit. She looks stylish and chic. I hope she keeps her hair shorter at this length, it really suits her beautifully.

Lovely colours in the jacket. The proportions of the jacket length to her height is perfect. This is evident when looking at all 3 ladies jackets, how just a few inches makes all the difference. Love her hair this length, does not overwhelm her face

Pour cette occasion, Letizia a su se vêtir d’une petite veste en tweed sur un pantalon blanc ; de son côte, la ministre Pilar Alegria est élégante dans son ensemble violet porté avec un top blanc !

Fingers and comfortable barefoot summer toes crossed that not only does Letizia become convinced to remain long term in beautiful flat shoes (only wearing heels when the occasional ball gown demands it), but that the trend spreads like wildfire across the royals and into everyday society so that high heels and tight pointy shoes become seen for what they are (fashionable but damaging) and that it becomes the norm and fashionable for women to wear comfortable healthy footwear for everything except the daintiest of special occasion frocks! … it really is the craziest fashion accessory, once you think about it, that women should force their feet into small tight pointy shoes as a norm! - Bob.

@Bob
It are not the points of the shoes that are damaging the feet but the high heels. In the points there are no toes, unless you buy a size too small. Also the width of the shoe must be wide enough. But you are right these so called court shoes were never that high in the past. If you look at old pictures of royals, they wore high heels too but never so thin and so high like now. When I was 16 à 17 years old I asked my mother if I could have a pair of navy shoes with high heels. She said yes but she said immediately, don't complain if your feet hurt. When I was +- 21 block heels were fashion. Now these heels were fashion again during Winter, but for the Summer I don't see them anymore. Now the young (and older) women wear flat sandals, sneakers, loafers, kitten heels. It is more a custom under the rich and famous women to wear court shoes.

The sleeve length should have been shortened for Letizia. It's too long. Wouldn't have taken her seamstress long. The length, colour and pattern are nice. Not a fan if pockets like this. Welted or side pockets so much nicer.

12:36 did you mean lengthened rather than shortened? I looked again at the photos after your comment, and see the last photo of Letizia with her arm bent has the sleeve exactly the same length as the model just below also with arm bent? So it seems she’s worn it as the maker intended - but I agree it could look even better longer, to wrist m, than cut half way between short and long, although maybe that’s cooler and the desired effect! Kind regards, Grace

Sorry but to me the sleeves are not too long. On this type of jackets the pockets are always put in the front. Although this is not a Chanel look-a-like jacket, the idea of putting the pockets in the front comes from the Chanel jackets.

Photo nr 3 shows that the sleeves should be a inch or two shorter. I really don't care what is supposed to be, or copied after or whatever. I prefer welted pockets or even welted pockets with flaps. So much nicer.
